kiriya research group
organic-inorganic hybrid interface research group
The University of Tokyo
Research Topic: Chemical modification of 2D materials for engineering and physics
The interface of materials is crucial in developing devices and electronic/quantum functionalities. Our quest is to discover a new molecular-inorganic interface system that changes the conventional functionality or property in inorganic materials and devices. Our research group stands in interdisciplinary fields in chemistry, materials science, electronics, and quantum physics.
Combining unique ideas from various research fields is the key to future development. We are looking for motivated graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to join our team. Please let us know if you are interested in our team. We welcome all research fields of chemistry, materials science, electrical engineering, quantum physics and devices. Fellowship from JSPS (link) is also one of the paths, please contact if you are interested in the application.
Contact: Prof. Daisuke Kiriya
Position Opening
We are always looking for motivated postdoctoral fellows and Ph.D. students in i) semiconductor device research or ii) materials science fields. If you are interested in working together, please send your CV and contact to Prof. Daisuke Kiriya (kiriya@g.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp).
